Volume 2/11 – Rhythm Streetz #2: “Chaka Chaka Riddim,” produced by Fire Links, released in 2005
The “Chaka Chaka Rhythm” was produced by Dane ‘Fire Links’ Johnson & Craig ‘Serani’ Marsh for Fire Links, in 2005. It is the second issue of the “Rhythm Streetz” series, distributed by In The Streetz.
This riddim sounds drastically different from the previously released riddim of the series, (Drop Leaf). It is very uptempo, and kind of sounds like a caricature of folkloric country music. Besides, Vybz Kartel failed at covering some sappy Pop song in the chorus of “Dancehall Queen.” Still, some people might like its folkloric vibe sometimes reminiscent of the “Junkanoo Riddim.”
The compilation features Elephant Man, Beenie Man, Frisco Kid, Assassin, Fire Links, and many more. You may click here to view the full track list.
This is the 2nd volume of a 10-album series of riddims. So, make sure you get it if you don’t have it in your collection yet. Let us know what you think of it. Also watch out for other releases. Do not hesitate to share it on social media if you like it.

People complained about fraudulent links when I was using zippy. I cannot please everyone. It seemed like there was less problems with Mega. If I got time this week, I’ll upload a second link for this riddim.
