K-Licious presents the “Unda Wata Riddim,” released in 1999
The “Unda Wata Riddim,” produced by Tony ‘CD’ Kelly for K-Licious, was released in 1999. It features Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Buccaneer, Sean Paul, and more. Like most of K-Licious‘s late 90’s releases, it sounds mad.
A few samples of beeps reminiscent of a submarine’s sonar give the riddim an aquatic vibe. The riddim is mostly made of samples and drums cleverly arranged together. Thus, it’s very catchy. Especially, Degree‘s track “We Nuh Boring,” and Buju Banton‘s “Woman Dem Fat.” You may click here to view the full track list.
If you’re a 90’s Dancehall fan, you ought to have this riddim in your collection. So make sure that you got it.
