New project new sound but she’s not new to the world of poetry and performing arts. We welcome you to the world of Simone “Fruittree” Dewar. She has been performing and giving us poetry and Spoken Word professionally for the past four years. She has written more than 4 books from children’s books to novellas. Her latest EP is called THOUGHTS UNCUT and its a three piece project that has some twist and packages attached.
The project was produced by Push A Yute Inc and I.T.Productions. Simone took some time to invest in working on a couple body of works. She has 2 books her EP an an upcoming album all in the works. “Thoughts Uncut” came as a part two to the original “Thoughts” project that was released over 3 years ago for Push A Yute & VPal music. And as expected the UNCUT comes with 3 introspective poems (Spoken Words) worded over brilliant composed sound tracks and soundscapes for this special project. Simone went into the studio and home with the ideas of laying it all on the line.
The three piece consist of “MORE” (A sultry track that speaks of the communion between man and woman. King & Queen and the cosmic energies that make up a relationship). “HEY YOU” (The piece that ask you to look within self and be grateful for all life blessings) & “DAT YOU PICK” (A crowd favorite with undertones of cynicism and critique of some of our lives decisions, along with not supporting our fellow brothers and sisters). All three tracks can be heard now on all DSP platforms.
