The “Black Ice Riddim” was released under Tarik “Jazzy T” Thompson‘s label Gravi-T in 2000. The compilation features Lexxus, Bounty Killer, Bling Dawg, Delly Ranks, and more.The “Black Ice” is a typical Dancehall riddim of the early 2000’s with a heavy digital bass, and licks of abstract samples. It sounds rather dark. Lexxus covered the classic “Glass House.“ One can also notice that on the track “Proceed,” Bounty Killer has covered hit song “Try Again” made famous by Aaliyah.Overall, it’s a good riddim with a pretty good line-up.
