Hype Yawz Production presents “Netflix and Chill”, performed by FA’real

Since the inception of the ultra popular Netflix in 2009, the connotation of the term “Netflix and Chill” has been self explanatory- to chill out at home and watch a movie via Netflix on the computer or iPad, instead of trekking to the movie theater. There you were, sitting on your sofa or laying in your bed catching the latest season of whatever that was buzzing at the moment. Little did we know that Netflix would become phenomenon years later, since the service has become mammoth in the movie streaming industry. Thus, it is no coincidence that the connotation of the phrase “Netflix and Chill” has changed, too.The phrase has since become a 21st-century version of “Do you want to come up for some coffee?” Additionally, in April 2015, it was added to Urban Dictionary with the definition: Code for two people going to each others homes and f**ing or doing other sexual related acts. With the rampant popularity of the phrase across Hip Hop, Dancehall & pop culture, Dancehall artist Fa’Real, is poised to seize the opportunity to get in on the action. “As an artist I keep my ears to the street, and the new street is social media, so I noticed something as basic of watching shows with a companion an indulging in sex is a reality and we are all are guilty of such act. My goal in making a song is to make it relatable to people and while doing so, staying true to my self; hence Fa’Real.”The song is produced by Hype Yawz Production, on the Miami Vice Riddim and set to be released in October 2015 by Hapilos 21 Distribution. “Right now, we’re working on the music video. We’re also working on a product placement deal, since we are promoting the multi-million dollar movie streaming service. Hopefully, everything works out,” says the artist. The “Netflix & Chill” is a follow up after Fa’Real‘s hit single “Only One”. This move signifies that pop culture has great influence across all genres, since Fa’Real a Dancehall artist, not to mention the emergence of social media and it’s effect on life in general. For more music by Fa’Real, follow him on social networks:
