Luciano shares his love for music in the brand-new Reggae track “Heart of the Riddim”
“Heart of the Riddim” is the very last track of the Reggae compilation “Divine Combination Riddim”, produced and arranged by I-Sistance in collaboration with Mystical Force Sound, that has just been released. To be honest with you, I expected better from Luciano on the Riddim. The bridge of the song sort of lack of energy. Luciano tries to convey his unconditional love for music through this song.
“Life is like a song. Keeps going on it. My heart beats the rhythm, my palms keep the timing, my voice sings the melody”.
The chorus and verses are nice and very laid-back but when the mood switched during the bridge, it sort of sounded out of place. As Luciano adapted his flow during the bridge to keep up with the change of pace, he was kind of off trying to deejay. Luciano is definitely a much better singer and I would have appreciated the song even more if a Dancehall deejay was featured on the track to perform that part instead of Luciano.
Despite the weak spot mentioned previously, “Heart of the Riddim” is a decent track on a decent One Drop riddim. It’s free. Do not hesitate to listen to it, share and comment.
