This #ThrowbackThursday, take it easy. Check out the “Unchained Riddim”
(First) Released in the 70’s, the “Unchained Riddim” can be considered as a must-listen classic Riddim. It was voiced by various artists like Bob Andy, Gregory Isaacs and Dennis Brown, during the 70’s. The Studio One’s production has been remade and re-arranged a couple of times by different composers like Bobby “Digital” Dixon, Errol “E.T.” Thomson & Joe Gibbs through the past decades.
The most enjoyable about this riddim might as well be its laid-back cadence. My favorite song on the “Unchained Riddim” is undoubtly “Easy, Take It Easy” made famous by Dennis Brown (available for download below). In the #ThrowbackThursday pack of the week you can download by clicking the “Download” button below, features “Babylon Too Rough” by Gregory Isaacs,“Unchained” by Bob Andy, “Unchained” by Jack Radics and more.
The ones who love Rocksteady or the ones who just love collecting Reggae music should check it out. I hope you will enjoy listening to this riddim as much as I do. Do not hesitate to share and comment if you like this post.
