Good day readers and Reggae fans. Today we’re gonna be looking and observing an artists. Well she is more than an artists she is the full fledged package. She’s a designer, writer, mom, singer, promoter and at any given day can strut down the runway. Her name is Kendra but her brand is known as “Tuff Like Iron”. She’s a gentle soul with a grit like queen when it comes to running her empire. We have done a listening session for latest set of projects getting ready to drop. Shes putting the finishing touches on her album which should be due out late May.
Her latest single “All Time High” is a play on words and several double entendre. Its a duet with Puku Poo (Nomads) and its a refreshing one at that. She uses her rastafarian background to paint the picture between love and Marijuana. Then tying the future and use of digital currencies to coin phrases that are both relatable to the tech world and soothing words which allows the leighman common man to enjoy it as well while appreciating the love story. The project was mixed and mastered by Zen & GeeJams engineer Tandra Jhagroo.
We are looking for the video and the single to be released by 420 which is hailed as a cultural date within the Rastafarian community.
As said earlier we had the privilege of listening to several tracks from the album and again we must commend the team and production team for putting together such a solid project.
