Shann I, a militant young artist. A Jamaican that has the world in his sights.
His name is Shann I. Yes, he’s still honing his craft, one thing is obvious there is something about this young man. The way he delivers his music, the way he believes that there has to be a message. He’s one with a dream and intent. He’s actually said it in his lyrics. Along with each passing month, for the past 2 years, we have seen him improve every step of the way.
Shann I, born Oritte Taylor, is a Rastafarian who believes in the growth of the black community along with aligning ourselves with allies who fight for love and equality.
He’s presently in the studio working on his upcoming EP which will be followed by his debut album. With songs like “Man Yah Now”, “Give Thanks” and “So The Thing Go,” we are looking forward to a solid album and project.
Stay with us as we follow Shann I and his musical journey to see and hear what city, town or country he will be in next. Until the, we invite you to check out his single “Give Thanks,” which is available on digital platforms such as Apple Music.
