In 1996, X-tra Large Productions released the “Dugu Dugu Riddim”, produced by Dave Kelly.
It is a typical late 90’s riddim. The riddim is mostly composed of bass and drum. In a certain way, this riddim is almost atonal. Yet, it is catchy. The prominent bass-end sort of sounds like a tribal spell.
It features Beenie Man, Frisco Kid, Wayne Wonder, General Degree, and more.
