Throwback of the week: “Break Ya Neck Riddim”, released in 2002 by Log-On Street Vibes
This week’s throwback is the “Break Ya Neck Riddim”, released in 2002. It is a Dancehall riddim that was built off the hit song “Break Ya Nack” made famous by Busta Rhymes in 2001. Produced by Log-On Street Vibes, the compilation features various artists including Mr Vegas, Mr G, Mitch and Lexxus.
Even though the beat is hot, the riddim is as mad as the other Hip Hop beats that Jamaicans have voiced over the years, like “This Is Why I’m Hot Riddim”.
