Ice Drop Records presents the “Cold Times Riddim”
Even though the temperature’s getting higher, the world’s getting colder. Ice Drop Records reminds us about it with the release of a 20-track Reggae compilation entitled the “Cold Times Riddim”. It is a remake of the 2008 Reggae/Hip Hop riddim “Morning”, produced by Food Palace, which features Echo Minott, Jah Mason, Ward 21, Warrior King and Nastaja & Little Hero. The “Cold Times Riddim” is a truly delightful riddim, musically and lyrically speaking. It’s a blend between Rocksteady and Roots with a subtle touch of Nyabinghi. The bluesy piano riff alongside the bubbling organ make it sound mellow and catchy at the same time. The very same melodica melody that you hear in the original version discretely lies beneath the sophisticated Reggae riddim. In addition to the artists mentioned previously, this brand-new riddim also features Mykal Rose, Mitch, Lutan Fyah, Ky-Enie and more.Track list:
