Digital-B presents the “Lecturer Riddim,” released in 1997
This week, let’s rock to the cheerful “Lecturer Riddim”, produced by Digital-B in 1997. Like most of the classics of Reggae music, this riddim has been inspired by a Studio One‘s production.
“Good Girl,” performed by Ed Nangle in 1968, probably was one of the very first cuts on this riddim. Ever since, various producers, and record labels such as King Jammys, Penthouse Music etc. have recut this riddim. It’s a very pleasant riddim to listen to, especially when the warm brass lead comes in.
Digital-B‘s version features artists like Admiral Tibett, Anthony B, Morgan Heritage, Sizzla, Louie Culture and many more.
