Entertainment Soul and Kush Face Record present “Ole Ganga Lee” by Nesbeth on the “Rebel Rock Riddim”
For those who might not know, Nesbeth has been recording songs since the early 1990’s. “Bord House”, “So Let It Be”, “Guns Out”, just to name a few, are probably some of his best-received tracks. During the 2 past decades, the singer has been performing at international festivals such as Reggae Sumfest, Bob Marley Birthday Bash, STING, Rebel Salute, Irie Jamborie, Summerfest…
Recently, Jamaican Reggae artist Nesbeth dropped a track titled “Ole Ganga Lee” on the “Rebel Rock Riddim”, the debut project of Enterntainment Soul LTD. The riddim was crafted with live instruments which gives it an authentic Reggae feel. By the way, the bass line and chord progression somehow reminds me of “Nature Dub” by Augustus Pablo and the riddim on which Gyptian voiced “Sensi”.
Overall Nesbeth delivers a soothing track in the keeping with Roots Reggae music and culture. “Man a ole ganga lee […] We satisfy with what Jah give on to we.” Wise and conscious. “Yuh cyaan trust nobody. Haffi hope an pray. Seh everyman around yu ah trod it one way, cah nuff a dem weh look inna yu face and say: Dem straight, when dem a go di opposite way”. Take a listen and meditate to his lyrics.
