Here’s some consciousness. Travalaunch and Jahmiel solicit the youths’ attention to wise up instead of making war in a new single entitled “Wise Up”. On a R’n’B oriented Dancehall riddim, the duo tries to reason the youngsters. In the context of the Jamaican ghetto, where it seems like violence is deeply ingrained in the society and the babylonian system doesn’t do anything to change it, the youth often choose violence and guns as the last resort. Travalaunch and Jahmiel intend to make them change their minds and raise their awareness about how they can fight the system without bullets and guns.DOWNLOAD
